Paris is one of the most expensive cities in the world to visit,

but that doesn't mean you can’t travel there on a budget!

Restore the Earth

The Restore the Earth Foundation has initiated a 1 million acre reforestation project in the lower Mississippi River Basin. Once completed, over 100 million trees will be planted, 200,000,000 MT CO2e will be sequestered, and more than $12 billion in economic value will be created, using a forward crediting reforestation accounting methodology  developed by Restore the Earth in association with Climate Action Reserve (CAR) .

This program is designed to accelerate climate change action, by encouraging companies and organizations to invest now in projects that will mitigate future greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The Climate Forward program provides a mechanism for Restore the Earth to quantify, verify and register Future Mitigation Units, that are marketed to help fund future reforestation efforts.

Tripmasters has partnered with Restore the Earth to offer customers carbon offsets in our booking process, allowing individuals and families to participate in this partial solution to our global environmental challenges. These offsets are inexpensive, but meaningful, and Tripmasters will match every contribution.
